Grandparent's Day!!

What fun we had with our grandparents. 

Spirit Week

There has been change in Spirit Week attire.  Monday is "Blast from the Past" day and Tuesday is "Hunters and Hillbillys" day.  The rest of the days have not changed.

Tomorrow is "Jeans for Haiti" day.  Bring $1, wear jeans, and support the people of Haiti.  

Fall is in the air, and the school year becomes busy with fall activities.  Here are some upcoming dates to add to your calendar.
**Spirit Day - Thursday, September 27th
**Open House for prospective families - Tell your friends and neighbors what a great place TSA is - Thursday, October 4th at 6:30p.m.
**Grandparents Day - Friday, October 5th - 1/2 day for students
**Student Holidays - Monday and Tuesday, October 8th and 9th
**Homecoming week - October 15th - 19th - more info to come

Spirit Day Friday!!!  Wear your blue and gold to support Mr. Hester and the Trojans.

Friday is also hat day.  Bring a dollar to support Jay's Hope and wear a hat.

Join the Beautification Committee for a Spaghetti Supper before the Trojan Legion Meeting on Tuesday, September 18th.  Supper begins at 5:00 p.m. and the Meeting begins at 7:00p.m.  See you there!!

Football Send-Off

 The Second Grade cheered the football team as they were leaving for their game with Bulloch Academy tonight.  GO TATTNALL!!!

Dr. Riley was there to help us cheer for the Trojans.

OOPS!  We goofed.  The picnic for the culmination of Frog and Toad will be Friday, September 14th.  This is not a Spirit Day.  Wear regular uniform.

This week we are reading Days with Frog and Toad.  In this
                                                   story, Frog and Toad have a picnic by the river.  To culminate
                                                   this story, 2nd Grade will have a picnic.  This will be during
                                                   our normal lunch time of 11:10a.m.  The students may bring
                                                   a lunch from home or  the lunchroom will fix a sack lunch for     
                                                   them.  Please send a towel or small blanket to sit on.

Hat Day and Spirit Day!

 

Second grade enjoyed Hat and Spirit Day!!! 

Second Grade will be restarting our blog.  Each week we will have the updated Bible verse and Spelling lists.  We will also try to keep you informed of upcoming events.  Friday, September 7th is an exciting day.  It is Tattnall's first home football game.  We will have spirit day allowing the students to wear their Tattnall Spirit wear. (t-shirts, football jerseys, cheerleader uniforms, etc.)  Remember the rule about no athletic style shorts.
